Hey guys and welcome to the Bill Barnwell show. I am Bill Barnwell. Today, it is the Robert Sala discussion. Robert Sala fired as the head coach of the New York Jets earlier this week. Had a couple days to digest the news. I wrote a column about it for ESPN.com, but I needed to have a Jets expert here on the show,

someone who has been through the wars in Florham Park.

And joining me to do that today is a former Jets beat writer, a ESPN analytics writer, a wonderful and frequent guest of the

Bill Barnwell show. It's Seth, I feel like I'm asking you going to put on an old hat of

yours to analyze this decision. Bill, you know when you go like back to your hometown and like maybe,

you know, maybe there's a couple stores are different this restaurant

changed but it's still that familiar place and it's that comfort that comfort for you

jet's dysfunction is that for me you know it's like it's different people the case some of the

For me, it was a, I have to check and make sure this is Adarn, or Adam Schaefter and not A darn Shefter once.

There have been times, like the Andrew Hopkins trade, I had to check multiple accounts to make sure they weren't all fakes.

Where did this stand for you in terms of surprise given the Jets 2 and 3 start?

This was a me sitting alone in my office verbally, you know, like like a out loud like a wow, you know, fully, fully surprised.
