Well, I love what we have sung about Jesus. He's gentle, he's lowly, he's close to the

lonely, he's worthy of all of our praise, he paid it all. And so tonight as we dive into scripture,

I encourage you as we listen to my friends here read scripture.

As you read it on the screen, listen intently, behold, fix your eyes on Jesus.

There's no one else that we need to fix our eyes on other than him.

So I'm going to have my friends here, they're going to read the word, fix our eyes on Jesus and behold him.

Howdy, my name is Matthew, and this is Isaiah 534-7, an Old Testament prophecy of the Messiah who would one day come.

Surely he took up our pain and bore our suffering.

Yet we considered him punished by God, stricken by him and afflicted.
