The catastrophe of manhood has reached every segment of our society.

I think the biggest challenge we have is being a man of God today is so far off society's

norm.

We as men have got to understand while we're waiting on God, God's waiting on us. He's

waiting on us to step up. We own this. We own the responsibility of calling a culture

in decline back, calling men back.

I love verse 9. It says, for as yet they did not understand from the scripture that he must rise from the dead. He must rise from the dead. He must rise from the dead. And as sure as he must have risen from the dead, he will return in all of his glory. Because God has to keep his own word. He will not just decide that the world is so dark and so depraved that he will just give

up on them after all if his word says it he must do it.

I wonder if you would go with me to John chapter 20, John's Gospel, the 20th chapter, verse 1.

Now, on the first day of the week, Mary Magdalene came to the tomb early while it was still dark and saw that the stone had been taken away from the tomb. So she ran and went to Simon Peter and the other disciple, the one

whom Jesus loved and said to them, they have taken the Lord out of the tomb and we do not know where they have laid him. Verse three.

So Peter went out with the other disciple and they were going toward the tomb. Both of them were

running together but the other disciple outran Peter and reached the tomb first and stooping to look

in. He saw the linen claws lying there but he did not go in. Verse six. Then Simon

Peter came following him and went into the tomb and he saw the linen claws lying there. And the face

cloth, which had been on Jesus' head, not lying with the linen cloth, but folded up in a place
