The book of John tells us about Jesus' parade of miracles, seven extraordinary and deeply significant events that tell us more about him.

Last week we learned that when Jesus turned water into wine at the wedding of Kaina, he revealed

that he's the one who gives abundant life.

And in John Chapter 4, he reveals that he is the object of our faith.

John had a strategy when he wrote the Gospel of John, he lists seven miracles. He calls

these miracles signs, that is they are miracles with a message. They's signs with a significance. Now Jesus did not come to

perform miracles. He came to save souls. And what we need to do is to go beyond miracles and on to Jesus. I believe in miracles, but I don't

trust in miracles. I trust in Jesus. Jesus turned the water into wine. That's
