Summary

Despite being an experienced hunter, Jerry Michael "Mike" Williams was thought to either have drowned or even been eaten by alligators while out for a routine duck hunt near his home of Tallahassee, Florida. After years of investigation, however, the truth turned out to be far more sinister. Savannah details the discovery of Mike's body almost 20 years after his disappearance, the life insurance policy taken out by his widow Denise Williams, and the complicated love affair between Denise and Mike's friend Brian Winchester that ultimately led to Mike's closest friends plotting to kill and dispose of him.
