Today, our guest is Jeremy Jones, one of the best big mountain riders to ever do it.

Jeremy, of course, is also the founder of Jones Snowboards, but before he started a snowboard

company, Jeremy was thinking long and hard about snowboard design. So in this conversation,

Jeremy and I are talking about the history and the evolution of snowboard design. And we also

talk specifically about the evolution of some Jones snowboard designs as well. I also ask Jeremy about the prototyping process at Jones,

and we dive into the weeds about things like shapes and flex patterns and new materials and weight.

And by the end of this conversation, you are going to have a very clear idea, I think,

about how Jones snowboards get designed and refined.

And I should also note that Jeremy was out here in Crested Butte this past fall for a

blister speaker series event at Western Colorado University. And in that conversation,
