You probably recognize Jeff Ward, Mickey Diamond, and we're chatting a little bit about

a bicycle event to raise some money for road to recovery that they're about to embark on

and some kind of masochistic stuff you guys are into, this torture, riding bicycles this long but um it's always for a

great cause and we want to make sure people know how to support it kind of get behind you guys so um

i guess let's start with tell us what the the raw is as opposed to the ram kind of give us a little

bit of background there uh well we did the ram the ram is uh race across america which goes from ocean side to annapolis maryland, we did the RAM. The RAM is Race Across America, which goes from MotionSide to Annapolis, Maryland,

and we did that in 2017, and Mickey did it in 2014.

And it was U-2 plus David Bailey and Doug Henry, right?

So they were on their hand cycles, which was crazy, a lot of stories on that stuff.

But, yeah, it's been a long time i mean it's

almost been 10 years since we did it so i was just uh went up to a golf tournament up

santa cruz for road to recovery i was doing a mountain bike ride and i'd kind of thought about

doing something again i mean i had my two heart surgeries a couple years ago and i had a brain

tumor taken out,

and it wasn't feeling good. And then all of a sudden I started feeling good again, getting on the bike, and it's like, okay, now I need another goal. I got to get a goal going. So I thought of the raw, which just goes from motion side to Durango, which is about 900 miles. And so I was thinking on doing it maybe solo. and then somehow I got to talk to Mickey

and he was thinking on doing it maybe solo. And then somehow I got to talk to Mickey. And he was thinking about doing something the next year. And I'm going, well, let's just do it together. And so it kind of came about like that. And Road to Recovery was on board. And it just kind of all tied in to get that put together. And I had to go out and get the funding to do it. the first time I think road to recovery got a lot of it.

And so we had to kind of set some timelines and had some, you know, good sponsors come on board with beneath and hammer.
