I know I've been listening to your podcast,

which is fantastic every single day.

And you're talking about the jobs numbers,

kind of taking a turn for the worse but you also sent out a tweet

last night that I thought was fantastic that the lowest unemployment rate in US

history was followed up by an actual recession one month later.

So I guess we could go ahead and start there.

Well, Janet Yellen said in February, after the big jobs report,

you don't have a recession when the unemployment rate is at a 50 year low.

And I'm like, well, no, that's not true because in fact if you look at recessions throughout history,

what you'll see is that they usually are preceded by a really low unemployment rate.

That's usually where they start. And then, of course, the most ridiculous absurd example is the lowest unemployment rate in modern U.S. history, the modern statistics,
