We welcome six-time Pro Bowl Center and ESPN NFL analyst Jeff Saturday to the show.

And I love talking to Jeff about a variety of topics. But one of my favorite things that he

discussed was the influence that Tony Dungey, his head coach with the Indianapolis Colts,

had on his journey of faith and how when Coach Dungey, his head coach with the Indianapolis Colts, had on his journey of faith and how when

Coach Dungey arrived in 2002, what that did to the culture within the locker room, heavily

influenced by Coach Dungey's Walk with Jesus. This is Jeff Saturday from 2018 here on the Sports Spectrum Minute.

So I was a believer for about two years or 18 months before they get there. And when I tell you

the culture change in the building when Tony got there, and it's not, you know, so many people give

Tony the credit, but the reality is the staff that Tony brought with him were a ton of godly

men that were about the business of Christ. And so guys like Clyde Christson, you know,

Clyde, the first, you know, the first year he's there,

he's giving us all daily Bibles. And he makes fun of us about being New Testament Christians.

He's like, you don't even know there's an Old Testament you guys need to be getting into.

There'll be great stories for your kids, you know. And so he's making fun, but he's encouraging

us, hey, read the Daily Bible as a group, you know,

as a Bible study.

Let's all get together and discuss it.

And so it sounds funny, but the reality was we're all becoming Christians and growing

together as a young team.
