What's up? Welcome in. Uh, this is the both the hardest and probably the most meaningful

episode of Hogan John's that we've ever done. And it's not going to be what you're used

to. Uh, Thursdays before games. And there's not going to be any bolt predictions or even

much talk about the bears, the giants this weekend. This is all about our friend, Jeff Dickerson,

who passed away this week. And so courageously paddled cancer this past year. He meant so much

to us. And last night, assuming you're listening to this on Thursday, a bunch of us who have covered

the bears and have been around Jeff Dickerson got together on zoom and just talked because

we might as well have gotten together to talk about him instead of crying over our phones,

which we've been doing. And this is long. But I think you're going to find out if you don't

already know about Jeff Dickerson, the man, the friend, the father, the son, simply the most

unselfish person I've ever met my entire life. So what you're about to listen to, and I encourage

you if you don't usually watch us on YouTube to maybe watch us on YouTube. But if you don't,

it's okay. But we all got together on a zoom and just talked, which I think we all needed. I know

I needed it. And this is that raw conversation as we remember our friend Jeff Dickerson. So we've

I mean, seriously, anyone can chime in at any point with anything. And I just, you know, I keep

thinking back to 2019 Burmene because it was our last training camp. And JD wasn't there the

year before because he had taken a leave of absence to take care of Caitlin. And if you think about

what he was going through that year, you know, suddenly turning into a single parent, I don't know

how anyone can consider Burmene vacation. But for him, like those, those couple weeks down there,

I just remember like every day we were whatever JD wants to do. We're doing it because it was,
