Hello, this is back to you from New Zealand. I was five years old in return of the Jedi came out,

so it was almost certainly not the first film that I saw, but it is the first film that I have any memory of seeing.

I remember thinking that the lay reports were cool, that the hole in the

decital of the piece was scary and it was creepy when the doubt turned into a frog.

A most vivid memory of the film was that the order was into submission which came

about the time that our heroes went to Endor.

My father took me and my brother to get some ice cream, but the cure of the candy bar was so

long that the film had started again before we were able to be served, which is why I have vivid memories of watching the speeder bike chase,

or what little I could see of it, through the lobby doors

and being frustrated because as much as five-year-old me loved ice cream,

there was really exciting stuff happening in the film

that I desperately want to see.

It saves a lot of up dead ice-eyed, the young me was more excited by the movie than the

prospect of ice cream.
