Yes, I did, but I still like my

origins in rural France. I hope I keep from that a sense of community, some common sense being

grounded, really, and I still have a strong passion for nature and sustainability. This has been even reinforced by my passion sport, which is whitewater kayaking.

But then, you know, I wanted to discover the world, and after 20 years I went to discover the world,

and I think I've caught up quite a lot since then, because I've been probably traveling to more than 100 countries.

Is there something French about being an explorer? The funny thing is that every time I go to the top of some kind of mountain, there is always some kind of French dude standing there already.

Right. That's coming from Viking, I guess, in terms of history. And you know what? In my part of France, there was a camp of people coming to visit us from your part of the world.
