Alex, tell us what happened in the NBA this week. Well, Andrew, it all started last Friday night with our first game of the week as Raptors fans, a matchup against the always reeling Lakers. Should be an easy win for the raps, right? Well, rookie of the year... Oh, no. Yeah, I know. Well, rookie of the year candidate, Scotty Barnes, did show up in a big way, scoring a season high 31 points, but it was the Lakers, and a player named Russell Westbrook, who went home with the win after Russ had a game tying three with time expiring and regulation to force overtime, where the Lakers closed it out. The Lakers looked decent this week. They also beat Cleveland and lost a close game to Philly.

On Saturday, the Charlotte Hornets, a team we haven't talked about in a while, had a nice win at home against the Red Hot Mavs, 129 to 108, since the All-Star break.

The Hornets have the fourth-ranked offense in the league, and that Dallas win came as part of a six-game winning streak that eventually ended at the hands of R.J. Barrett and the New York Knicks.
