Hey guys, today on the show, we have Alabama's head golf coach, roll tide. Jay Sewell is our guest

here on sports spectrum. Jay, back in the day when he went to college at South Carolina,

served as the president of the University's fellowship of Christian athletes. He became Alabama's

golf coach in July of 2002. He won the national championship in 2013 and 14, helping his golfers,

obviously, win the national championship in 2013, 2014, inducted into the Golf Coaches Association

of America Hall of Fame in 2016. And he's having a pretty good summer as a coach too watching a couple of his former players

lee Hodges and davis riley win their first pGA tour events and then just a couple months ago

nick dunlap who's a current sophomore with the alabama golf program won the hundred and twenty-third

u.s amateur championship and he joined Tiger Woods. Yes, Tiger Woods

as only as only the second male to win both the U.S. amateur and the U.S. junior amateur titles.

Jay Sewell is Nick Dunlap's coach. He's the Alabama coach, and he's our guest today on

story, lots of good encouragement, and his puppy makes a little bit of a cameo appearance as well.
