Today's show is a virtual club dread reunion because we're doing this virtually and my guests are Jay Stadressikar, Kevin Haverded and Sam Levine. Hello gentlemen.

Hey Doug, how are you, pal?

I'm good man. I'm excited. Oh, that's good. I'm excited for your movie that just started on Hulu a couple of days ago.

You know, we were pretty excited too. I mean, it's it's a real wild thing to have a movie just get plugged right into the houses of the stoner, stoner who follow us.

Oh, yeah, came out on on 420, which is always always assigned here. That's going to be a good time. And yeah, I think so. I think so. Yeah. Well, let's you know, let's say hello to the director and also co-writer and co-star of quasi on Hulu now. It's Kevin Everton. Hey, hello. Hello. Hello. Hello.

How are you? It's good to have you back or to hear you back.

Good to be back. I've been I've been dying for you to show us a picture of yourself, Doug, but you know, I know we're keeping it mysterious here.

Oh, I'll turn my camera on at some point at some point. I'll surprise everybody for emphasis. I'll shock everybody.

But yeah, I like it. I like to do old school radio style like we're all called we're all calling into a radio station interview. Well, it's one big phone or.

And what have you directed stuff before? Is this your first direct is this your directorial debut?

I directed a broken lizard movie many years ago called the slam and salmon. I work with Shanra Sikars. Otherwise busy.

So I directed a movie about 10 years ago for broken lizard. And then I've done I've directed about we've done about 50 episodes of my show to comb FD and I've directed half of those. So I guess that's okay.

That counts right? Yeah. No, you're you're you're the old hand now. Direct. Yeah. Yeah. Quite quite an expert.

Well, tell us a little bit about the movie quasi short for it's reference to quasi moto, right?

Yeah, this is our this is the broken lizard spin on the quasi moto story. And it has nothing to do with the original quasi moto story except for a hunchback character at the center of it.

Okay.

But it is actually it's set in medieval France. It's set in the 13th century in France. And we made this movie about this kind of lovable loser who finds himself in this conflict between the pope and the king.

The two most powerful guys in this world. And then at the same time he's falling in love with the queen. So it's kind of a skewed brave heart love story.

Yeah, it sounds like a real love triangle of sadness.
