I've been away for a bit towards the end of December, ill for a few weeks at the beach.

So you've got a large body of work, your books, your life experience, your, your podcasting.

Maybe, you know, briefly, if you could tell us a bit about your experience as well as, you know, the experience that led you to the current work that you're doing as well as some of the main

themes you've been working on via your podcast and books yeah I will try and as I said

before we started recording or before we started I'll try to keep it succinct.

So I have retroactively, or towards the end of the main period of my writing, I coined the term mapping how. So that's the way I sum up. All of my writing and research

and podcasting from about the age of 30 to the last couple

years is mapping how, which is to say trying to make sense of the world. And I would say that

this began very young as a child like I couldn't make sense of my world.

And at some point in my writing process I discovered that I was actually born into a Fabian family without realizing it

because my paternal grandfather was a founding Fabian member.

And all I knew was that we were these

champagne socialists who were wealthy and extravagant and had mansions and parties and these

sorts of things. But our values were socialist and supposedly for the common man and this sort of

thing. So I knew there was a hypocrisy or inconsistency there by until until my 40s.

I didn't trace it to this Fabian agenda, which is what one of my books is about the vice of kings.
