Jason is the national director of Operation Save America. Jason, thanks for being with us today.

My pleasure to be with you. So Jason, for those who might not have heard of the organization, Operation Save America,

this is from your website.

It says that we unashamedly take up the cause of preborn children in the name of Jesus Christ,

and we only employ biblical principles.

So can you elaborate on that a little bit and tell us more about your organization?

Yes, we've been around for 35 years. The organization

formerly known as Operation Rescue was at the forefront of what was called the rescue movement,

was the largest peaceful civil disobedience movement in the history of this country.

Tens of thousands of Christians were arrested as hundreds of thousands of Christians took to the

streets,

really in repentance for what we had allowed, the slaughter of preborn children,

motivated by the simple idea that if we're going to claim as Christians that this abortion is the murder of children, then we need to act like it.

And so Christians went to the streets and would interpose and sit down and peacefully

protests in front of the doors of abortion clinics.

And there was, as I said, tens of thousands of arrests from the late 80s into the early 90s

up until the election of Bill Clinton.
