It's less than nine weeks before the start of the NFL regular season, and while the 49ers

returned many of the individuals who have played huge roles in their past successes, there will also

be a lot of new faces taking the field this season. The 2025 NFL draft and the 11 new additions

served as the major avenue toward restocking the 49ers roster. But general manager John

Lynch and the personnel department also sought to acquire some veteran players who can step

into specific important roles. On this episode of 49ers talk,

we'll become acquainted with one of those key acquis, safety Jason Pinoc. Pinoc reconnects with

Robert Sala, who drafted him into the NFL with the New York Jets, but waived him before the start

of his second NFL season. Pinoc appears to be in line to be a week

one starter for the 49ers. Jennifer Lee Chan and I will analyze the entire incoming group of
