Today, currently, technically, is Monday, August 15th.

Now, August 15th, that rings some bells for some people. If you're Catholic

or Eastern Orthodox, you think of the Dormition, the assumption of Mary at the Greek Orthodox Church

in Danbury last night. They had a big event with the arch, with the, with the, with the, with the,

the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the,

stuff. But something happened one year ago today, uh, a day that I hope will live

in infamy, um, when the man in the White House, uh, oversaw one of the most disastrous operations in the history of this nation.

When we pulled out of Afghanistan in a way that was just, it seems almost

calculated to weaken this country and to destroy the lives of people in Afghanistan,

I wouldn't know where to begin. So we have on our very, very dear friend, Jason Jones. Jason, welcome. Eric,

thank you for having me on your show. It's always a joy to have you. There's so many aspects to you

that I won't even have time to get into right now, but let's give my audience an overview. First of all,

I know you in many ways through John Zmirak, uh,

you and he, um, have written things together, have done a lot of work together. And he was the one

that suggested to me having you on today for this extraordinarily grim, uh, anniversary. So you

are a man who wears many hats. You're a film producer. You're a writer. You were involved in the movie Bella, the pro-life film from 15 or so years ago. But you now head up something called the Vulnerable People Project. And you've been helping some of these folks suffering in Afghanistan as a result of this wicked regime's policies.
