Welcome to Bachelor party. I'm Juliet Littman. I am delighted to be joined by my newly famous friend fellow bachelor professional. The host, the comic, Jared Fried, Jared. Welcome.

It is a pleasure to be here with you Juliet. It is definitely don't sound like it. You sound dead.

I'm I'm I'm doing I'm doing the press store, you know, it is I'm and I'm, you know, also having like celebratory drinks while doing the podcast. We haven't been by Jared. You can you can watch 37 and single on Netflix right now. It's Jared Fried's Netflix baby. That's right in seven minutes. I check the time because I don't often watch comedy specials because I don't. I like to laugh but at people not with people.

I hear you and so I was like how long is this going to be and it brings by had a great time watching it. Did you finish it did you and you can it's okay. I finished it. I even got a call in the middle and I'm going to go back and finish it. So that's the greatest compliment of all that I we don't have to push it because I understand that I turn on every special and it's rare that I finish them.

Because you got to keep me going. I got to be interested in that means a lot and did you see the part of the end with my parents. Yeah, well the thing is you told me about it multiple times.

So that was my trick a good quiz question because I'm like yeah you told me about the hidden cameras with your parents and like how it's like your thing. So I was actually focused on the production because I know that you did a while ago.

I was curious about your crew the lighting so we can talk about that off up mic. But I really enjoyed it and I felt seen on two occasions. One you referenced Cape Cod the Cape specifically for you wouldn't bring darling who doesn't bring who doesn't eat fish to the Cape.

Right.

And B you talked about what it's like to be a bachelor professional who is single and that's something that you and I discussed all the time. So I was just delighted to see it on your special and everyone should watch it.

That means a lot again. Thank you. Yeah, the thing is when you like the back. That means do I really sound fake? Do I turn into a different person? I don't know. I have to thank you. Like I it means do you feel uncomfortable with compliments.

I do feel uncomfortable because I do feel the need to be like I have to show that I appreciate it because again, like stand up. It's me. You know, like if someone doesn't like it. I hate them to their core.

So it's it's like they don't like me as a person. It's not like a person I'm playing. It's it's wrote. It's words that I wrote. It's feelings. I had like when I talk about the bachelor on the special. It's like everyone who likes the bachelor who single is told you should go on the show is just a thing.

People have stopped saying that to me.

They've stopped. I think I think they've said it to me. There's a point where like I you know, I aged out, I think you know, but like they.

I remember I turned 26. I was like, wow, I can't be on the real world anymore because it used to be 18 to 26 and then it was 21 to 26 because they wanted them to be able to drink legally.

But I was like, wow, I'm too old for the real world. We're now too old for people to recommend me going the bachelor. So.

I mean, we've hit the point of no return. And again, you realize it when you watch this season, like I feel like again, like Braden is the perfect example of like young guy that I can't hate on.

Like he's every bit of 24, you know, like it was like, you know, I didn't look at him and go fuck that guy, which there was a few a little bit of that at first from people.

Like generally, not me. I looked at him. I was like, this guy is living the 24 year old life that I lived that I wanted to live. He's at the beach in San Diego. He's a nurse.

Like he's doing yoga on the beach. He's wearing earrings. He's testing out looks like I appreciate Braden. And that comes when you're again 37 looking at a guy who's 24. You're like, I get it.
