I am 42 years old I've been waiting for this moment for many many years. We will never

To unravel all the causes and effects of the upheaval's taking place in the Middle East

might well take historians years.

But one of the undeniable key factors that led to protest and revolution in Egypt and Tunisia

was the rocketing price of food.

Mohammed Hosni Mubarak has decided to step down from the office of President of the

Republic.

We live in an era in which the escalating price of food imports might well decide the fate of governments and even lead to their

demise.

And has charged the higher council of the armed forces to administer the affairs of the country, my God help everybody.

But it's not just the less developed economies and democracies of the world where the present spike in prices currently at a 30 year high is making a political and economic impact.
