Russia and China conducted a joint bomber flight that entered Alaska's air defense identification zone last week, marking the first time the two countries have flown near the United States.

The North American Aerospace Defense Command said it monitored two Chinese H6 bombers

and two Russian TU95 strategic bombers flying in Alaska's ADIZ on, according to news release.

A photograph accompanying the story shows some of the fighter aircraft from the US and Canada up to meet the bombers.

There were two Hornets, two Lightning twos, that's an F-35, and 2 F-16 Falcons.

I welcome Grant Newsom, the United States Marine Corps retired,
