The governor of Tom Olipas in Matamoros, Mexico, announced this morning that two of the four

Americans kidnapped by gunmen last week were found dead.

Two others from that group were found alive, though one was wounded.

One of the victims reportedly had traveled into the country for a cosmetic medical procedure.

The area in which the victims were abducted is essentially controlled by the Gulf Cartel,

and now lawmakers are calling the Biden administration to hold those responsible accountable.

The Republican Congresswoman Monica Daley Cruz of Texas condemned the, quote,

horrifying crime and declared, just as must be swift and overwhelming enough is enough.

Fox News host Tucker Carlson sparked a firestorm online and outrage from legacy media outlets

after airing never-before-seen footage from the January 6 Capitol riot.

The footage aired by Carlson is some of more than 40,000 hours of surveillance video

given exclusively to him by Republican House Speaker Kevin McCarthy.

Video showed some of the protesters calmly walking throughout the building with Capitol

police likewise calmly standing by, and at times even appearing to accompany the protesters

throughout the halls.

One of those protesters featured in the footage was a so-called QAnon Shaman, Jacob Tansley,

who was seen in his famous horn hat walking throughout the building, accompanying by police,

who take no steps to arrest him.
