I don't know what you should do, Mike.

I think I'd rather take a bullet in the head. I'd rather stick needles in my eyes. I don't know what to say. The Beyond Dumb 2 to 6 show, right? Jackpot! 985, the Sports Hub. So this year, this game, good thing. Overall, big picture, bad thing. That's sort of my assessment of it. I would agree 100%. Meaning the league is lucky that it's the Patriots, not the Jaguars. Yes, it could have been the Jags. It could have been Case Keenham and Bordels for crying out loud. And instead, they got Nick Foles who, look, as much as I dump on Nick Foles, you could do worse at backup quarterback than Nick Foles. Like the Eagles had a pretty good quarterback situation. He'd start on a lot of teams. So, and the way he looked last week was dynamite. So you got Philly and the Patriots, that's a pretty good Super Bowl, all things considered. But long term, if you're the league, oh, my God, do my God, like I think of it in these terms.

Take the Patriots completely out of the picture, completely out.

They don't exist.

1:01.2

Who wins a Super Bowl next year?

1:03.7

Couldn't you rattle off about eight teams, maybe more?

1:07.2

Yeah.

1:07.9

Like I just...

1:08.6

So what's your point?

1:09.4

My point is it's much more interesting.

1:11.3

It's wide open if you take the Patriots out of it. You leave the Patriots in. Everyone says New England. You take the Patriots out. Who you pick in? So our dynasty is good or bad for sports? See, I generally think they're good. I don't. but in this case

1:26.3

it's gone on so long that I think people

1:28.9

are tired of it

1:29.7

oh well so what am I supposed to have empathy for other idiot sports fans and other cities? No, no, but that's not the point. Is it good or bad for football? Yeah, I think it's good. I think it's good for sports. You need the bad guy. What did Tony Montana say in Scarface? You need people like me. You need people to point the effing finger. I said, there's the bad guy.

to point the effing finger. I said, there's the bad guy. I think you need the bad guy in sports. The pads are the bad guy. Okay. They're that, but what if they're just a generic winner? Like, were the Spurs good or bad for the NBA? Because they weren't a bad guy. They just won a ton. I think the spurs were boring.

2:00.2

Bad.

2:00.9

It was a boring brand of basketball.

2:03.3

I don't know if it's necessarily bad.

2:04.5

Is Alabama just won a ton. Oh, I think the spurs were boring. Bad. Yeah, I think ultimately...

2:01.3

A boring brand of basketball.

2:18.1

I don't know if it's necessarily bad. Is Alabama good or bad for college football? I think good. See, ultimately, I say good. Bad. Bad. Bad. It's boring. It's wrote. It's... This is... You want to talk about the biggest problem with basketball is, you know, who's going to win 90% of the time.
