Jane de Chantal's life teaches profound virtues of patience, faith, and charity. In the face of great suffering, she exemplified total faith in God. Her devotion as a wife, mother, and later a widow is a portrait of selflessness in daily life. Through her generosity and care for others, she demonstrated true Christian charity, transforming personal loss into a life of service. Her meeting with Saint Francis de Sales highlights the significance of courage in following God’s call.

This series contains moments of intensity, including raised voices and arguments. Catholics and Protestants engage in a street brawl. As a child, Jane is angry with a Huguenot, and angrily tells him that he will go into the fire if he does not change his ways. A mother’s death in childbirth is referenced. Huguenots threaten to behead a Catholic. An eventually fatal hunting accident is described.
