And today, we're going to talk about whether the United States Supreme Court will give a man who

launched an attack on the U.S. capital will give a man who used violence, who urged his supporters to

violence to try to stop the peaceful transfer of presidential power.

Whether the Supreme Court will give a man who tried to overturn the expressed will of the American people,

whether the Supreme Court will give a man who tried to bring an end to American democracy, whether they will give that man the

green light to go back to the Oval Office, a green light to finish the job he started three years ago.

Headline, Supreme Court says it will decide if Trump qualifies for Colorado ballot.

And that Washington Post article begins,

the Supreme Court said Friday,

it will decide whether former President Donald Trump's name can appear on

primary election ballots, scheduling arguments just five weeks from now in a case

that will have major impact on the year's presidential election.

Colorado's top court disqualified the Republican front runner from the ballot last month, finding that he, Trump, engaged in an

insurrection before and during the January 6, 2021 attack on the US capital.

Similar arguments have been made to keep Trump off the ballot in other states.

While some of those challenges have failed, including in Michigan and Minnesota, the efforts are

still pending in Illinois, Oregon, Massachusetts, and elsewhere.
