Media, a collaboration between Demos and the University of Sussex, and his

latest book is The People v. Tech, how the internet is killing democracy and how we save it.

Hello, Jamie. Hello. I feel like I've followed an enormous mailstorm of stuff that's happened in the last

year particularly, actually accelerated in the last couple of months.

So let's start there and then maybe work backwards.

I think the thing that I'm impressed that you managed to get in is the Cambridge Analytica story,

which I imagine must have been extremely close to your filing deadline.

But for anybody who's just seen the headlines about that, just, I mean I think it is a big moment in

Facebook and therefore the internet's evolution.

Explain that story for me.

Yeah, well, actually, I've been covering it for quite a long time because I covered it for the BBC

...
