Summary

"I must admit, nothing could have prepared my old eyes for what now lies before them." Inspired by the arcade games of CAVE and Treasure, the modern day Manic Shoot 'Em Up has found a home in the living room. Final Form Games' 2011 shmup, Jamestown has Bullet Hell hallmarks, but its unusual setting, structure and soundtrack piqued the collective interests of James, Ryan, Tony and special guest, genre specialist Simon Cole. An interview with developers Final Form Games pertaining to discussions initiated in this podcast can be found here: http://caneandrinse.com/an-interview-with-final-form-games/ http://media.blubrry.com/caneandrinse/caneandrinse.com/podcast/cane_and_rinse_issue_224.mp3   Music used in this issue: 1: Prologue by Francisco Cerda 2: Credits by Francisco Cerda Cane and Rinse 224 was edited by Jay Taylor (@JaySevenZero).
