and they don't know who to trust because they're hearing stories from mainstream Hawkeye news media saying things that just sound crazy to them, like how I got T-Cattle by Chris Kirksey in a one-on-one drill. And so I heard that and I knew I had to come on the

podcast and set the record straight and let them know that at no time did I ever get flat backed, teacled, laid out, or baptized by Chris.

Now, nothing against Chris, excellent player,

but definitely has the ability to do that to me.

No question, but I'm here to vehemently say

that it did not happen, and so I'm gonna put out a challenge because here's where my mind's at.

Every single rep of every single play or every instance in practice going

back to 1999 when coach Ferren started was recorded.

There's videotape of it and they've got like 10 or 15 video students interns that

manage all that stuff. So I'm throwing out the gauntlet

that if somebody can go out and dig up that video clip

of me getting teacled by Chris Kirksey

in this one-on-one drill,

then I'll shut up up I'll eat crow and I'll I'll make a

donation to the UI Children's Hospital I'm texting Coach Woods right now yeah so that's

my gallon I want someone to go dig this up. I have no memory of it. I'm not saying it. Well, I am saying it didn't happen, but if somebody can prove me wrong, then I will definitely come out of pocket to to make this right.
