What is God doing?

That's always my question.

What is God doing?

God is doing things in this world right now.

And people need to know that

it's our obligation to have hope. We have an obligation to be hopeful and to look forward and to

ask ourselves, what is God doing? Not just to say, oh, everything's falling apart. No, no.

First of all, that's not true.

God allows difficult things to happen, often to wake us up, to bless us, to help us, to get on the right track if we've been on the wrong track.

Now, part of that, I've got a lot to share here.

My guest in the first hour today and in most of the second hour today is a very old friend. It's amazing how many years it's been Jim Kuntzler. Jim, uh, he goes officially by James Howard Kuntzler. Somebody I met in 1986, um, brilliant writer, brilliant think, and out-of-the-box thinker.

I think a Democrat for much of his life or certainly no kind of conservative Christian or anything.

But during crazy times, there's some heroic people who are real free thinkers who think for themselves.

And they begin to see things and to say things.

And Jim Kuntler is one of those folks. So this is kind of a rambling conversation that I have with him. But what's amazing to me is people that I would have differed with politically or

theologically years ago or even in some ways now, they are still seeing
