A thoroughly entertaining episode as you surely expected, as Pip and Jamali sit down and chat it out like old mates, getting down to business on such topics as their mutual mate Guz Khan (the three of them sport the finest beards and beard connections are strong), the conflicts of interviews and too much personal info being revealed too easily, a lot of ‘Hate Thy Neighbour’ talk including how people don’t quite know where to place him racially and ethically which ultimately reveals limitations of the show’s participants, race and racism and where he’s at with such topics, how he’s not a ‘social justice warrior’ which doesn’t always lead to satisfactory or expected conclusions, paradoxes of freedom of speech, taking comedy seriously at 20 years of age, and how tension built up on set of ‘Hate Thy Neighbor’ (and how it was released).
