Welcome to Jam Session. It's our year in review.

Pre-Christmas year in review. This will be our last podcast for the year.

So we're going to talk about our year in culture.

Amanda, how are you feeling?

I'm feeling great. We were doing just a little sort of like

pre-podcast planning, but also like a height machine, like instead of warming up the crowd,

like warming up each other, you know, and kind of talking about the way this would go,

which I always really enjoy. And it's sort of an impressionistic year in review for us.

It's going to be off the top of our head, but also from the heart as opposed to kind of like the

rigorous list and spreadsheet, you know, year in content that you might expect from other podcasts

or magazines, etc. Frankly, I enjoy that, you know. Me too. Also, I'm going to air a grievance

when we get to the proper category. Wow. Okay. This is very exciting. I didn't even know grievances

are going to be a part of this, but I suppose it's Jam Session. So here we are.

I mean, I know you've got grievances. Feel free to drop me in wherever you want.

We have some categories. We did some superlatives that we're going to go through,

but before that, I thought we'd each just give a kind of like a top line.
