When it comes to the countries that record the most shark attacks on an annual basis.

All right.

Summers in full swing down under, and officials in one state have told people looking to cool off, go to the pool.

After four bites were recorded in the span of just two days. I believe there has been

a fifth attack. I think I read that earlier. And it would have been the fifth attack in four days,

I believe. International shark attack file, which I did not know exist, released its report concerning

the unprovoked incidents that were documented in 2025. However, based on the

data compiled by the Shark Research Institute, it appears there was a rise in the number of people

bit compared to the previous year, close to 60 worldwide. In 2024, it was 47. Now, the U.S.

normally reigns supreme on that particular front, but there is a chance

Australia could end up seizing the crown based on the number of the aforementioned

institute tracked in 2025.

At least 20 shark attacks were recorded in its waters compared to the 17 in the United States,

up from nine. You think there's competition, like friendly competition, the Australian sharks and the U.S. sharks, like, hey, mate, what's your bite a total up to? Oh, 17, hey, we're doing 20. Well, they say, I didn't realize who led the world. Well, Florida, New Smyrna Beach. New Smyrna Beach, and is it Venice Beach?

There's one in California.

Maybe like Huntington Beach somewhere down there.

According to the Guardian officials in New South Wales are grappling with a spate of attacks.

It began with a 12-year-old boy suffered critical injuries to both of his legs after being bitten in Sydney Harbor on January the 18th.

An 11-year-old boy in D.Y was scared but unscathed when another shark chomped on his surfboard on the 19th. Unfortunately, the same
