Welcome in everybody to Fantasy Pros. This is the Fantasy Football Podcast. It's me, Joey P. Joe Pee, Zapia. It's time to look ahead to the waiver wire for week 14 in the NFL. The Fast Way with my good friend, Jake Sealy, from the Athletic. We've got a bunch of teams on a buy this week in 14, Carolina. We've got the New England Patriots, the Giants, and the San Francisco 49ers. And so we're missing a lot of

players. And also, of course, every week have injuries. So coming off the holiday break, we've

had a lot of games, a lot of time to digest those performances and some of the leftovers as well.

So Jake Sealy, let's start here at the top with Chris Godwin, who did return for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. We also got Bucky Irving returning in that game. So what's Chris Godwin's rest of season look like? Because I know that's a big name. I know there's some other guys we're going to talk about later in the show, but I want to your thoughts on Godwin first because that is a name that is, you know, always been like at the

forefront of fantasy managers' minds, but not in 2025. No, it hasn't been. I mean, coming back from the injury when he first came back, you saw the same thing everybody did, myself included, is like he didn't look like Chris Godwin before and then aggravated that same injury. And they're like, oh God, my God, if you're aggravating the same injury a year after it, you don't even look great. Like, what's the hope for Chris Godwin? I will say there is hope now because watching that game, he looked like 95%. I don't want to say 100% because, you know, it's still at this point of his career, Chris Godwin.

But he finally looked like the Chris Godwin, remember, who can separate, who's getting open. I mean, constantly. Baker was looking for him throughout the entire game. And I think at this point, if he is available in leagues, because he is. I even checked on Sleeper. He's not even 60% rostered. I actually think he's under 50. He's somewhere right around there.

But the point being is if he had been floating out there, 10 team league, if you were hesitant to put him in your lineup, and I know we're talking waivers, but I think watching Chris Godwin play yesterday gives me hope that we get the good Chris Godwin going forward and he will be a top 25, top 30 at worst. Speaking of veterans returning from injury, Darren Waller returned to

the Miami Dolphins this weekend. So is he worth a stash this week in 14? I would say so. They are all

pass catchers for the waiver pickups this week. But at tight end, being a number two with the fact that

we have a major concern, which I'm sure you'll talk about on another waiver show and we'll talk about plenty of shows, but the Justin Herbert situation, and even if he's playing, they ran a ton in that game. So is the Gadsden excitement kind of out the window? And with the past catch, you're not obviously going to see 50 attempts, maybe even 40 attempts per game. If this is the new going forward, especially with the Justin Herbert injury, we need tight ends. And at this point, Darren Waller stepped right back in as basically the number two coming off injury, not even playing the full game. So if Darren Waller gets back to 100% next week and going forward, he's going to be the same exciting top 10 tight end that we have for the rest of the season. You talk about this in August, Joe, that we're going to be talking about Darren Waller twice this year on waivers. I think it would be like, no, you're crazy. He retired. Well, yeah. I'm still not going down that. I don't want him to go down that road either. I've heard that song
