Jacqueline Novak has been doing stand-up comedy for nearly 20 years,

but it wasn't until this past week that the entire comedy world

finally took notice of how talented she truly is.

There's a reason why John Malaney has called Jacqueline the Muhammad Ali of comedy.

It's evident in her astonishing new 90-minute special Get On Your Knees,

which took six long years to perfect, and is now streaming on Netflix for the whole world to enjoy. Get On Your Knees is ostensibly about the blowjob, as Jacqueline puts it, as opposed to blowjobs more generally.

But as we discuss on today's show, it's really about so much more than that.

This deeply intellectual meditation on our basest sexual acts is not easy to

describe. So before we get into this conversation, let's listen to a clip from Get on Your Knees,

this one concerning a sexual position that Jacqueline prefers to call the Hounds Way.

I'm someone that, for example, prefers to call doggy style the hounds way.

I think the position deserves a term with some gravitas.

I think it's one of our more noble positions.

I feel like any of these positions where you're staring into the eyes of your lover,

you know, as if to become one, there's

something immature there, I'm not impressed. To me, the hound's way it represents a more mature

kind of love, where two lovers can look towards the future together. You know, it's not, it's not

sad that I'm not looking at him, that I'm not making eye contact with him, because

it's more like we're these two pioneers headed west.

And I gotta keep my eye on that horizon, because these are tough times.
