This is a bonus episode because we've got so much to talk about coming out of the Lakers win in game one against the Memphis Grizzlies. I do have a bunch of super chat questions left over from the post game show that we'll get into. Plus, we've got to talk a little

bit about John Morant's injury. We do have an update there and just some new thoughts after last

night's game against the Grizzlies, what everything means for the Lakers here moving forward.

Some things that I particularly liked about this game. So we got a lot of stuff to get into.

Let's start with the John Morant situation because here's the thing.

And I've seen this response from a lot of a lot of Lakers fans so far,

saying, of course you want the Lakers to win the series,

but you don't want them to win the series because of an injury to a really good player,

a superstar player for another team.

And now, according to Adrian Wojnarowski, it is very doubtful that John Morant is going to be a go on Wednesday for game two.

So again, significant doubt were the words used by Adrian Wojnarowski regarding John Morant's availability for the Memphis Grizzlies.

Not a surprise.

That was a nasty, nasty looking injury.

I was amazed that there were no fractures in there.

Again, x-rays, this is on the positive.

X-rays came out negative on John Moran on his hand.

I thought for sure something was going to be broken in there, but still in a lot of pain

and significant doubt that he

will be eligible to play in game two.

So what does this mean for the Lakers?

I mean, again, you never want to see injuries.
