Welcome to the Real Estate Strategies podcast. Let's get right into this episode.

0:04.7

If the Fed starts to lower rates in September, what can we expect? And more importantly,

0:10.6

who will the winners and losers be? This is an incredible topic because I think a lot of people

0:17.0

are hanging on these quarter point, quarter point. It seems like a little bit of a

0:21.2

marketing and a political play to me. But we are expecting them to lower rates a quarter of a point

0:26.3

in September. They haven't specifically said that, but they've alluded to it. Anyway, no, I, for

0:32.5

all of us, what, the fastest rates increases in 25 years. So we've all just felt the pain.

0:39.6

So, and there is a bit of a lag.

0:45.6

So it's going to continue to come down.

0:47.7

1:01.1

people's, you know, don't, don't, because, you know, as we'll talk about later, we're starting

1:05.4

to see higher jobless numbers. So don't let go of anyone yet. Don't worry. We got your back. We're going to be lowering rates, you know, more continually.

1:12.8

The one thing I always say, though, with investing hope is a bad strategy.

1:18.0

So you can't hope.

1:18.9

Like, but I do get the quarter point.

1:21.4

I get it.

1:22.7

Right.

1:23.6

And maybe and hopefully it's, it's the beginning of, you know, several.

1:29.0

Well, and it's right before the election.
