Hey you guys, welcome back to the Salis Roe show. You know, my name is Salis. And today we are going to be talking about, not really talking about like, I guess, anything in particular. I just kind of want to give you guys an honest life update that I have going on. So I'm sorry if I sound a little bit like sad or depressed or just not

0:23.2

fully there because I'm not. But I want to tell you guys as to like what's going on and,

0:27.7

you know, the good and the bad that I'm kind of struggling with right now. So I mean,

0:31.8

I almost didn't even want to film this episode and just wait to do one next week. But one,

0:36.2

I didn't want to miss out on a podcast

0:37.7

episode for the week and two might as well just tell you guys like the truth on what's going on

0:43.0

and the things that like i'm currently going through and maybe you guys can relate maybe you guys

0:47.2

are going to think i'm absolutely fucking insane and that's that's fine too you know but if you guys

0:51.6

are ready grab your food beverages, and let's get

0:54.6

started with this episode in three, two, one. One thing I'm currently struggling with right now is

1:00.5

determining who in my life is here for a season and who in my life is here for a lifetime.

1:07.1

I feel like a lot of people struggle with that and they tend to kind of keep people in their life way longer than what they need to be because they don't know how to let them go, when to let them go if they even have to let them go.

1:17.2

Maybe kind of the people kind of become accustomed and used to like the bare minimum.

1:23.9

And you know, it's almost like one thing I learned in my life that I don't want to do anymore is force a connection. I don't want to force a vibe. I don't want to force things. I don't want to force anything that doesn't come naturally because what is for me will always be for me and what is not for me will leave. And that's okay. You know, the longer I hold on to something that is not meant for me, it's not going to one day

1:45.8

be meant for me. It's still not going to be for me. So the longer you hold on to something

1:50.7

that shouldn't be there anymore, the longer you're giving it for the right people to step in.

1:56.5

So it's almost like we're kind of in charge of our life here and you're in charge it's almost like our life is a video game not that our life is a game no but we have like 90% control of what happens

2:06.5

in our life and what we do and how we are and how we act and who we let in our life and who we let

2:10.6

back into our life and you have to really really know how to play that remote correctly you have

2:15.7

to figure out that remote you need to make sure that before you move, any way that you move, you move correctly or the best

2:21.6

way that you possibly can. And that's kind of what I'm going through right now, trying to determine

2:25.7

who is here for a season, who is here for a reason, and who is here for a lifetime.
