My name is Jake Crumpler, and as always, I'm joined by pitcherless's whole pen expert, Rick Graham.

Rick, we are in a crazy week around the world, crazy week in baseball after the rafiel devers trade obviously this is a

open podcast but you have to start it off with something off topic and i'm going to go straight

into candy and we're going to talk about if you like old person candy because i get made fun of

all the time i love black licorish i coffee candy. I like all these candies that everybody

always makes fun of me and calls me and old man. And I'm like, no, no, no, these are good candies.

What's wrong with them? Do you like black licorice? Do you like any weird candies that people give

you trouble about? No, definitely not a black licorish fan. That's that's a bold take of yours.

I don't know about like any weird candies, but like old people candies, like in general,

outside of black licorish, like the like the Worther's originals, that's the classic.

Those are solid.

My, my dad used to get my grandmother used to get and so my dad ended up doing it you know because she was doing she did it

she would get like those candies from like the grocery store back in the day with like the little

peppermint um candies and like the butterscotches and yeah like kind of the old

and like the he would always just have them in the back of his car so like when i was a kid i would

yeah i would have a good amount of those so i'm i'm into old people candy just black

licorish though i can't i'm not i'm out on that i'm a huge huge black licish fan do you like um do you are you dark chocolate or milk

chocolate uh depends i've been i guess i'm more of a dark chocolate um person now um

especially i know it's like i like a dark chocolate and mint or a dark chocolate yeah okay
