Inside the Birds is back.

What's up, everybody?

It's Jeff Mosher, Adam Kaplan, back with Inside the Birds.

And man, you know what, Adam?

If people thought it was going to be kind of like a lazy weekend for Eagles.

They were wrong.

There was a lot of Eagles news.

Unfortunately for me, it all came out at a great moment for me.

I had never before covered in everything I've done in my sports writing career.

I've covered Super Bowls and NBA playoffs, NHL playoff, everything. Pretty much everything. Even some low-level sports you've never even heard of. NASCAR, steeple chase, horseshoes championships, everything. Yes, yes. But never an NCAA tournament game. So when it was here in Philly, we had Philly Voice jumped at the chance to cover it. And so, I mean, I didn't love the 10.30 p.m. start for the Yukon game, but it was an awesome experience. It was also there Sunday night. But yeah, in the middle of the Friday night games, I'm trying to get settled in. And there's some Phillies news. They announced their starting rotation. And then bam, the Eagles just start going crazy at safety. Yeah, it's funny. So real quick, I'm sure everyone watching has had

their own favorite sports experience attending a game. I'm going to say my number one,

if it's not number one, it's top three. I was either in eighth or ninth grade, the East region here in Philly. So I'm going to date myself without care. This is a great experience. My long-term memory is ridiculously great. I remember all of it. We have third level seats. Third level at the spectrum, I didn't care. We got in. It was Marilyn, left to Drusel. Uh-zel, it was a coach.

It was Albert King and Buck Williams, for those of you who live off college football

in the NBA.

It was John Thompson, Georgetown, before Patrick Young was Erk Sleepy Floyd with Georgetown.

And then Syracuse, I hated Jim Beheim with a, I just couldn't stand him.

I hated him because he's a whiner.

I'm not a big fan myself.

Great coach, but I never liked him.

No doubt, no doubt.

But it was the Louis and Bowie show, it was Roosevelt Bowie was the center.

And Lewis Orr, who got drafted by the Knicks. And then Iowa with Ronnie Lester was the point guard, big time point card, Dr. Tom Davis without looking, I think was the head coach. Yeah, nice. I was like in total all of it. Because I, my favorite college sport growing up was not football, was basketball. Same. And I was just in total awe of it i remember again you're talking you know
