Inside the Birds is back.

It's going on, everybody.

And we're sitting here in the middle of February.

And Adam's got a great idea.

Says to me, you know, there's so much change around the NFC East, all the coaching staffs, which means not just people, but philosophies and things like that. Let's go through it. Let's see what the Eagles will have to deal with in the year 2006. And I thought, hey, that makes sense. So we're going to do is have a three part podcast series here we're going to look at Washington we'll look in New York we'll look at Dallas we'll go

through all the changes they've made from either head coach to coordinators on down and we'll

explain what that means for them philosophically and how that will impact the eagles.

And we're going to focus this first episode on Washington, but one of the reasons why I think

this is a really good idea is because I don't know if you heard John Harbaugh say this,

but during his introductory interview with the Giants, he said something to the effect of

we have to build a team that's

good enough to beat the Eagles. So the Eagles came up in the press conference. And I thought,

you know what's amazing to me? The Eagles have kind of dominated the vision, you know, for so long.

They don't win it every year, but they probably, they've won it more than any other team over the last 20 years.

Nobody's ever come in and said, we need to be better than the Eagles,

even though the Eagles have clearly been the class of the NFC East for quite a while.

But it reminded me of a lot of conversations.

You've probably had them too with people from the AFC North, from Pittsburgh, from Baltimore, they always talk about, and it's not just a

philosophy, it's a scouting mantra. Like, you need to bring in players to win cold weather,

December and January games against the Steelers, or if you're the Steelers against the Ravens,
