The news from Milan, Italy tornado leads to fear of casualties.

Several people feared dead.

After a tornado hit two areas in Milan, the storm accompanied by wind and hail, drenched

Milan's northeast flooding parts of the city.

I go immediately to my favorite Milan citizen.

Lorenzo Fiori, who was traveling not in Milan at this moment, but of course that is his

hometown.

And the puzzle is, there's a photograph of the tornado touching down in northeast Milan.

Is this something associated with the severe climate conditions that have dominated the

news across Europe these last days?

Is something like a tornado regular in Italy, or is this a new phenomenon?

Well, let me tell you that tornado are not so common in Italy, but they are becoming

common now since the last two years, clearly the weather has changed, no doubt about that.

And so we are having now a pretty increase of frequency of tornado in land.

Typically, we were used to see tornado.

We call them are trumpet at the end of August, so let's say in the second half of August,

but on the sea, never on the land, or let's say very, very, very seldom, and particularly

something that hit the coastline, but never the inland like Milan.
