I am senior, so I am sympathetic to seniors having worthy lives.

And Italy has expectation of having a large percentage of your population over 65 by 2050,

some of whom are not able to retire with dignity and need subsidies.

Georgia Maloney is proposing a subsidy to begin in 2025.

I think it's a good idea, but at the same time,

Italy carries, I believe, the second highest debt in the EU. So is this a

popular initiative by the government or is it just adding to the burden of the debt despite the fact these are the
