This is CBS I In The World. I'm John Bachelor. To Tuscany, to Serody Rapalana. The Margarites

0:13.5

are in bloom. What is a Margarite? This is an Italian daisy. I welcome Lorenzo Fiore,

0:19.6

the Enzada Foundation who is in Siena to tell us the spring has arrived, plenty of rain,

0:26.1

then we will go to the political news in Italy. But for a moment, I want to celebrate the

0:30.8

daisies. Lorenzo, a very good evening to you. Tell me the daisies are a carpet all around you.

0:36.7

There's been very little rain in the north, but has there been adequate rainfall in Tuscany?

0:41.3

Good evening to you. Good evening, John. Good evening to all the

0:44.4

1:34.4

What we unfortunately still miss in the north of Italy, which is really a disaster, but here is a

1:41.3

paradise. Believe me. So the Po River Valley has not had any additional rainfall since we last

1:47.4

talked. Is that correct? Correct. Unfortunately, there is just a bit of rain, but I can

1:54.2

define few drops, nothing more than that. And so the critical situation remains on ground.

2:01.5

The Po River, I saw it three days ago, was really almost empty of water. I wouldn't say empty,

2:08.3

but the level is so low that you can really see all the pylons down to the basement.

2:15.2

This will increasingly become a problem that we will watch as we go forward, because the

2:21.9

regular pattern of rain and snow and drought around the world is shifting from California to
