Laskala, the Opera of Milano.

I welcome Lorenzo Fiore of the Anseldo Foundation who will regale me with what

it is to attend Don Carlo at Laskala, with dignitaries from Italy on a beautiful Christmas season night with the

Cathedral Square lit up by a Christmas tree and light.

Lorenzo, you lucky fellow you, welcome the Scholars Premier and then a repast at your club.

How was the audience and especially how was the orchestra?

Well, you did say very well.

I am a lucky man, even in Milan, not onlyLonsier because they have the opportunity to attend the Prima at

Laskala Theater which is an event known worldwide.

Everybody are looking for such an event coming up.

It's a sort of icon for all the Lyric and Opera sectors.

Yesterday it was a fantastic night, very cold, unfortunately we missed snow, otherwise it would have been a perfect night just opening the winter season.

Milan was plenty of Christmas, plenty of Christmas lights.

And so the opera, Don Carlo, was effectively a very, very beautiful opera. Not an easy opera to listen for hours. It's a long

opera by Giuseppe Verdi. And let me tell you that the singer and the orchestra and director

of orchestra did a very exceptional performance which was

testified by 13 minutes of applause by the public in the theater, planting no vacancy at all, a lot of
