past, Lorenzo and I were gravely concerned with the drought that had struck northern Italy.

The Poe River was drying up.

The hydroelectric plant was threatened.

So were the crops because the brackish water was coming up from the sea. Well here we are in 2024 and it's raining, raining, raining.

So much so that it's flooding. Lorenzo, a very good evening to you. The rain also mentions

Good evening, John and good evening to all the radio listeners. Believe me that we had a very massive amount of rain

over the last five days and we are expecting in the north of Italy

again another coming week with a lot of rain.

So, ultimately, we didn't have very big damages.

A couple of bridges collapsed in between Lombardia and Venetto, north and northeast.

But let me tell you that the river, particularly the poor river, which I

across yesterday with my car back from Genoa were really plenty of water.

All the river dead is full so closer to flood outside the argy. It's impressive the amount of water.

And let me tell you that the weather is pretty crazy because if the north

will be arriving also very cool temperature. In the south they are having a very heavy

summer with the temperature now closer to 95, 96th,

night. All the people on the beach taking their some bath, swimming in the sea.

And let me tell you that if they have a lot of rain in the north, the south is suffering a brow drought. In Sicily they are having pretty complicated

situation particularly for the agriculture and for the cattle because the grass is not growing. So a very strange situation.
