I've got a friend and he and his girlfriend broke up, but they cohabitated and the lease

was in both of their names.

It was one of those splits, like it wasn't volatile, nobody did anything wrong, they just

kind of grew apart and they're like, you know what, this isn't working out, we're not

meant to be, like we're not meant to be together anymore.

Let's break up.

Well, because nobody was mad at the other person and they're still friendly, they have

been living together.

Now it's two months, post break up and neither have moved out yet.

And each of them, I'm friends with both of them and they're like, I don't have the heart

to kick the other person out.

Like, I don't want them to not have a place to live.

This is their house too.

And so they are just living together and dating other people while they are living together.
