I realize a lot of you who are not old, you're like, you're watching what?

You don't watch it.

So that makes sense.

But the small number of people who still watch cable news, what do they think they're doing?

I watch MSNBC and Fox every morning, and they were wall-to-wall government shutdown.

And I thought, is there anybody in the country interested in this back and forth and the wrangling's over this? Anyone?

And even if you're interested in it, you probably misunderstand it. I've got a good illustration of that coming up a little later.

Not because you lack sophistication or anything like that, but because the budget process is so complicated.
