People are reminding me of certain things that I do want to discuss in the next hour.

I wanted to start with something that we see happen all the time in this country,

and it's really unfortunate that this is the way our politics work and our media works,

but when there's a horrible event, like there was this weekend in Jacksonville, Florida,

where there was a racially motivated shooting and three people were killed

by a 21-year-old gunman, the knee-jerk reaction is to politicize it,

and to use the deaths, the murders of those people to advance an agenda.

And it really does make me, it makes my stomach turn.
