By the way, Mike, or I'm sorry, John was just saying that when Gilbert Godfrey passed, that was the very first thing that he thought of right there. It actually was. Not a stand-up routine, not all the reams of stuff he's done, but that's the first scene that popped into my head. It was that Beverly Hills Cop 2 scene. You know how Gilbert Godfrey was introduced into my life? It was USA Up All Night. It was when I think Ronda Shear might have been first. Yes, that's true. And then it went to Gilbert Godfrey. I think you're right about that. And I, I had never heard of him before because he wasn't on any of the radio shows or anything that I was on when I was growing up. I just, you know, obviously he had made a bunch of appearances on Stern and things like that, and people knew him that way. But I heard of the guy and then all of a sudden you know Ronda Shear gets taken away from introducing you know such classics as sorority babes the slime ball ballerama a very sad night for all

of us by the way when Ronda Shear was bounced from that role and she's replaced with

Gilbert Godfrey and you know to say it was a little disappointing would be an understatement, especially when you're like 13. But he popped up in the strangest places. I mean, everyone knows about Aladdin and all this stuff. But you remember the adventures of Ford Fairlane? Oh, yeah. He was at the beginning of that movie, too.

He was a DJ at the beginning of that movie.

He just popped up in all weird places, and he made a career out of it.

You know, what's weird is it?

Gilbert Gaffrey was a guy that, you know, was well liked and everyone liked him.

I never really found him that funny.

Like, he wasn't somebody that I would say was a, you know, someone that I enjoyed, but a ton of people liked him and he was a good dude. But it was funny this morning. I was looking for some sort of stand-up clip or some sort of thing that we could play. And to be honest, like 90% of it is so filthy that we can't even put it out there. Like filthy or, I mean, even some of the stuff he did back in the day, you know, was fairly edgy. I think he got in a lot of trouble. Was it at the roast of Hugh Hefner? It's where he had like, you know, many people say like his lowest moment, his critics, but also his best moment. At the roast of Hugh Heftner for Comedy Central, he made, boy, it might have been several months after 9-11, like a 9-11 joke.

And even like the people at the roast were like, oh, boy.

But he immediately turned it around and trying to win the crowd back.

He launched into his version of the famous aristocrats joke, which if you've seen the movie, the documentary

about the joke, the aristocrats, which you don't know what it is.
